What does the Glupad meter test?+
Glupad measures blood glucose and blood ketone on a single smart hospital meter. Blood pressure, HbA1c and temperature in the wider i-GMS view come from BPPAD and other connected devices, rather than additional tests on Glupad.
How are patients and operators identified?+
The workflow supports barcode or QR-code scanning for patient and operator identification, helping reduce manual identification errors.
How can results be transmitted?+
The brochure lists Wi-Fi, LAN, 4G and Bluetooth for data transmission. Its illustrated Glupad-to-i-GMS workflow shows Wi-Fi, LAN and 4G. Final connectivity depends on the approved configuration and implementation environment.
What is the role of i-GMS?+
i-GMS brings readings from Glupad, BPPAD and other devices into a combined clinical view, with automated upload, hospital-wide critical-value management and HIS/EMR/EHR integration. The brochure describes i-QMS separately as the management system for its point-of-care testing (POCT) analyser range; its operator management and on-demand reporting features should not be assumed to apply to i-GMS.
